Sounds like a line from a Dr. Seuss book, doesn’t it?
But it is true. I have a prequel short story for Witch Fall that will come out next month. It’s entitled Witch Rising. I’m in the process of searching for a new cover artist for it, as Laura Sava isn’t taking freelance work right now (sad face!).
The cover is going to be simple, featuring the pendant in all its golden glory.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter whether you read Witch Song or Witch Fall first. They sort of circle into each other. But you should definitely read Witch Rising before Witch Fall.
Confused on the order yet?
*sigh*
I’m trying to keep it simple, but I’m not sure what to post in the subtitle.
A Witch Song Sort Story
A Prequel to Witch Fall
Something else entirely . . .
I need a Dr. Pepper.

That's awesome about WITCH RISING. Excited to read it. And what a bummer about your artist—she's so talented. Still, I love minimalism—I'm sure the alternative will be great.
Short story might work better than prequel. Even the Divergent side stories all have 'A Divergent Story' attached to him. I love prequels but for reader sake you have to reconsider those who cringe at the word prequel. Best of luck with finding a new cover artist.
J: I think I've found a new artist, and I'm super excited to see what she can do.
Sheena: Good point! I hadn't even thought of that.
Something wicked this way "rises." 🙂
Oh, your so funny. 😛
